The 3.6L DOHC V-6 comes with 308 horsepower and up to 7,000 pounds (about the weight of an elephant) of towing capability. The 2.8L DURAMAX Turbo Diesel offers 181 horsepower and up to 7,700 pounds in towing capacity.

Exterior Design

The Colorado offers four different trims: Z71, LT, WT, and ZR2. The WT model is the basic truck with available features like under-seat storage and a folding rear seat bench. The LT includes everything on the WT model plus features like the Chevrolet 3 infotainment system with an 8-inch screen, EZ Lift and Lower tailgate, and body-color door handles, rear bumper, and mirror caps. The Z71 includes everything in the LT package plus a Z71 off-road suspension package while the ZR2 adds an off-road appearance package to the Z-71.

Interior Options

The Colorado is the best of all worlds with its quiet comfortable interior. Seating for four is available in the extended cab while the crew cab offers seating for five. Standard features include a power adjustable driver’s seat and vinyl upholstery.
