Trim Levels of the 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500

March 15th, 2025 by

Peel back the layers of capability, and you’ll find the 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500, a half-ton titan built to conquer the biggest jobs and toughest terrains.

1. WT

The WT, or Work Truck, is here to work, and it’s very good at it. All the essentials are here, including a powerful turbocharged engine (310 horsepower and 430 lb.-ft of torque), a roll-formed high-strength steel bed, and four-wheel drive.

2. Custom

Next, we have the Custom trim, which adds several functional and stylish upgrades, such as a power driver seat, remote start, heated power outside mirrors, cargo bed lighting, body-color bumpers, bigger wheels, and deep tinted glass.

3. Custom Trail Boss

Think of the Custom Trail Boss as a more off-road-focused version of the Custom. It’s equipped with Rancho monotube shocks, a two-inch factory life, a heavy-duty engine air filter, hill descent control, and skid plates to protect the front underbody, oil pan, and transfer case.

4. LT

If you’re after a daily driver, the LT is the Silverado 1500 for you. Yes, it works hard, but it also knows how to keep things comfortable with heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, larger displays, keyless open and start, and second-row USB ports.

5. RST

The RST is the sporty trim, adding painted bumpers (instead of the chrome ones in the LT), LED tail lamps, high gloss black mirror caps, and black bowtie and emblem. It’s also the first model that can be optioned with the 6.2-liter V8.

6. LT Trail Boss

This trim marries the off-road capability of the Custom Trail Boss with the creature comforts of the LT.

7. LTZ

The LTZ sits above the LT on the comfort and capability ladders courtesy of a more powerful engine (355 horsepower), leather, a Bose sound system, ventilated front seats, a power-adjustable front passenger seat, bucket seats, and wireless charging.

8. High Country

Elegance is not a feature here; it’s the whole experience. You’ll love the premium leather seating surfaces with exclusive perforations, complemented by authentic open-pore wood trim.

9. ZR2

The toughest terrains require the toughest gear, and that’s what the ZR2 delivers. It’s got a diesel engine for that sweet low-end torque, Multimatic DSSV dampers, front and rear e-lockers, large underbody aluminum skid plates, and 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT tires.
